□ Name: Sherry Birkin
□ Series: Resident Evil
□ Canon point: Post Resident Evil 6
□ History: http://residentevil.wikia.com/Sherry_Birkin
□ Personality: Sherry is a young woman who is more kind hearted and trusting than she really has any right to be. Despite all the crap that she has gone through in her life, she still likes to think the best out of everyone, even when she sees signs that most other people would use to think the opposite, seen in both her trust of the mercenary Jake Muller and her former boss, Derek Simmons. This isn’t to say that she’ll keep believing that someone is a good person deep down if they do something truly horrible and there’s proof of it, but she is willing to give people more chances than others would. But if she has proof that someone is truly evil, she will do whatever she can to put an end to that person's plans, no matter what.

Sherry has dedicated herself to helping to stop the flood of bioterrorism outbreaks that have plagued her world since she was a child; taking the chance to become a government agent as soon as it was offered to her. Even if her freedom from the government labs that she had spent over half of her life in wasn’t on the line with her becoming a government agent, she still would’ve joined up when given the offer; her entire teenage and adult life had been dictated by the existence of Bio-Organic weapons and the viruses that create them. Knowing firsthand the horrors that those weapons can inflict upon the world, she wouldn’t have been able to live with herself if she had refused the offer to help in the fight against them. She was dedicated to the cause enough to be able to complete her training and become a top agent within a few short years. In fact, she was good enough at being an agent to be sent in to find the one person immune to a new virus and the probable only hope for the world; without any backup from any other agents.

Sherry doesn’t have a tendency to freak out when she’s in a fight, even against some of the monsters that she had come across during her time as a government agent. Typically, she’ll do anything she can to subdue and defeat the monster without anyone else she might be working with getting killed. Even when alone and with no weapons, she’ll still be calm and professional enough to escape using only her bare hands or a stun rod if that’s all she has available, no matter what she ends up going against or if there’s no way to fight what she’s dealing with and she needs to run in order to survive. Even in cases like that though, if there’s someone else around she’ll make sure to keep them alive, no matter what she needs to do to do so.

She can be a little bit awkward around people that she doesn’t know that well if she’s not acting in a professional capacity. Which is to be expected considering she had spent ten years of her life in a government facility isolated from most people. Even then, the few people that she did get to see fairly often were all much older than she was. Even Claire and Leon were still around 6-8 years older than her. She’s still able to function without much difficulty, but she’s not as confident around people as someone else might be.

Because of this, anyone that she truly gets close to, she’ll trust them no matter what they say, even if it doesn’t seem to be believable at first. When Leon told her that Derek Simmons was the one behind the C-Virus bioterrorism outbreak, she didn’t want to believe it because he was her supervisor as an agent and her legal guardian when she had been a child. Despite all of that though, because Leon was the one who told her that, she believed him enough to plan what to do if Leon wasn’t wrong or working off incorrect information. If anyone else had told her that Derek had been behind everything, she never would’ve believed them.

□ Abilities/Powers: Sherry’s has an enhanced healing rate due to her brief exposure to the G-Virus during the Raccoon City outbreak. This enhanced healing is pretty powerful, which allows her to recover from non-fatal wounds (and even some fatal but not instantly fatal) ones
with ease, fully healing within seconds. It’s unknown exactly what limit’s Sherry’s healing has, though it’s likely that fatal head trauma would still be fatal for her, as would an injury that completely destroyed a vital organ like the heart or lungs.

[Well, looky here. You have a blonde haired woman on the network. And she doesn’t see all that happy. Like, at all.

You’d almost think she was upset at the whole “taken to place where she’s supposed to have sex” thing. But that would be crazy, wouldn’t it?

Oh. Wait, no, that’s totally what was going on.]

Alright. Just exactly who’s bright idea was it to bring me here!? If you’re somehow able to bring people into an entirely different world, then you have to be able to at least know a bit about it.

And since your little world here runs on sex, you probably made the biggest risk of you could’ve possibly made. You should go ahead and send me back to fix that. Now.

[No, she’s not going to mention the G-Virus to everyone on the network. That’d just be stupid. She’s also not expecting them to actually agree with her, not just yet. But she’s sure once she mentions the virus that usually turns people into horrible monsters that’s still floating around in her blood they’d probably do the smart thing and change their mind and send her back.

She just... couldn’t stay here and actually do what they’re supposedly saying they brought everyone here for. Even if she wasn’t turning into a monster due to the vaccine, there was no telling what would happen if she had sex with someone.

It wasn’t exactly something they wanted to test back when she was little more than a lab rat. Because seeing if it was safe for one woman to have sex was a waste of taxpayer money.]

Anyway, to anyone else seeing this, sorry for that outburst. But I really need to get in contact with those who are in charge, and this seems like the fastest way to get around to doing it. My name’s Sherry Birkin. I guess... no. Whoever’s seeing this, it’s not nice to meet any of you at all. There’s no real point in us kidding ourselves.

Still, hopefully we’ll be able to get out of here soon enough.

□ Third Person Sample (written for Zodion):
Sherry didn’t really know what to think when she saw the letter. It was all too confusing. Still, if these twelve needed her help, she really couldn’t say no, could she? It would’ve been nice if they had asked.

But if they were able to do this, they could probably see into her world as well. So they would’ve already known that she would’ve agreed to help them if things had been explained to her. Though even thinking that, she was still pretty annoyed. She did still have a bunch of stuff to do back home; her own world to save.

Sherry sighed. Just thinking about the situation back home was enough to depress her a bit. There was never going to be an end to the bioterror attacks that were common in her world now. Now that B.O.W.s were widely available on the black market almost any terrorist could get his or her hands on at least one deadly monster or city destroying virus. And it wasn’t like she along was going to be able to stop the attacks. Even the incident with the C-Virus had several other people working to stop it.

She shook her head and stood up. The letter did mention that this would help save her own world as well, and honestly, thinking about that last incident just made her more and more confused. Knowing that Simmons had been the one behind the entire thing, that she had trusted him all these years... it was just too much.

Maybe helping out here would be a nice change of pace.

Though she really needed to find whoever these Twelve were. They didn’t really explain whatever this ‘worship’ thing was. And if she needed to do it in order to help them and protect her world, she really needed to know what it was.

With that thought in mind, Sherry moved out of the domed room that she had been, taking one last look at the murals that were painted on the walls before she started heading out to what she could only assume was where other people who had been recruited like her were. This place definitely looked nice, but she didn’t have time to appreciate it right now.

She needed to find out more about this place and what she was here for. It was the only way she was going to be able actually help these Twelve out.
